LMU rallies for 2-1 win over San Diego St.
LMU rallied from a goal down with two goals in the final four minutes for a 2-1 victory over San Diego State in the season opener for both teams at Sullivan Field. After falling behind 1-0, the Lions (1-0-0) equalized in the 87th minute through junior Roger Downes before junior Artur Jozkowicz won it a minute into the first overtime period.

Noyola named player of the week
Pac-10 squads enter this holiday weekend with a full slate of non-conference matchups across the country. No. 2-ranked Stanford will have the weekend off after two full weekends of competition, but No. 11 UCLA will look to get back to winning ways when it hosts Cal State Northridge on Sunday, Sept. 5. Arizona State, who is 2-0 on the season, will travel east to play Charlotte on Friday and South Carolina on Sunday.

HOSTING THE COLLEGE CUP
KSU Stadium gets 2010 women’s final
KENNESAW, Ga.---KSU Soccer Stadium will host the 2011 NCAA Women’s College Cup, the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Committee announced.
The $16 million soccer stadium is shared by Kennesaw State University and the Atlanta Beat of Women’s Professional Soccer.
