UCLA men add pair
The UCLA men's soccer team has added two players to its 2013 squad, as junior transfer Aaron Simmons and freshman Brian Iloski will join the Bruins for the upcoming season. The two players will join a team that went 13-3-3 last season and is welcoming the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation this fall.

Amanda Cromwell takes over Bruins
The buzz around Westwood lately has been the hiring of new basketball coach Steve Alford, but on Friday the school named a new women's soccer coach, Amanda Cromwell who comes to the school after 14 years in the same position at the University of Central Florida. She replaces B.J. Snow, who left the program in December to serve as head coach of the U.S. Under-17 women’s national team.

Snow leaving, UCLA in coach search
UCLA women's soccer head coach B.J. Snow has accepted a newly-created full-time position as the U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team Head Coach and will therefore step down as the Bruins' head coach. A search to identify a new women's head coach for UCLA is already underway, and Snow has agreed to assist UCLA with both the coaching search and transition.
TWO BRUINS PICKED
UCLA alums Hollingshead, Monge taken in SuperDraft
INDIANAPOLIS - UCLA midfielders Fernando Monge and Ryan Hollingshead were each selected in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft on Thursday. Monge was selected in the first round by the Montreal Impact (No. 18 overall) while Hollingshead was drafted by FC Dallas with the first pick in the second round (No. 20 overall).

UCLA senior Ryan Hollingshead has been named the LA Soccer News Men’s College Player of the Year. He also is among the finalists for the Soccer News Net College Boot, awarded to the national player of the year.
