The LA Galaxy have acquired Targeted and General Allocation Money from the Houston Dynamo in exchange for defender A.J. DeLaGarza. The Galaxy will receive $125,000 in General Allocation Money and $50,000 in Targeted Allocation Money from the trade.

LA Galaxy II have signed Galaxy Academy product and Cal Poly standout forward Justin Dhillon. Dhillon, from Rancho Santa Margarita, spent four seasons at Cal Poly and was named to the 2016 All-Big West Conference First Team in his senior season.

CARSON, Calif.-- The LA Galaxy have signed 18-year-old LA Galaxy II defender Hugo Arellano as a Homegrown Player. Arellano, a product of the LA Galaxy Academy, made eight appearances for Los Dos in 2016 after signing his first professional contract with the club on July 18, 2016.

Curt Onalfo to take over Galaxy

The LA Galaxy have named Curt Onalfo head coachreplacing Bruce Arena who left to take over the U.S. Men's National Team. Onalfo, 47, becomes head coach after leading LA Galaxy II to a 41-20-25 record, three-straight playoff berths and the 2015 USL Western Conference Championship over the last three seasons in the United Soccer League . Onalfo, who played for the Galaxy in their inaugural 1996 season and has over 10 years of experience in MLS, has won an MLS Cup and both a player and a coach.

Galaxy rally to 1-1 draw with Seattle

SEATTLE--The LA Galaxy escaped CenturyLink Field with a fortunate 1-1 draw against Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday afternoon. Sebastian Lleget leveled the score in the 78th minute, on one of only three Galaxy shots on goal. Cristian Roldan opened the scoring for the Sounders, playing their first match under interim head coach Brian Schmetzer.

Galaxy streak at four after win over Portland

PORTLAND, Ore.---The Los Angeles Galaxy are getting comfortable in the Pacific Northwest. The Galaxy won their fourth straight game, fifth counting an Open Cup, by defeating the Portland Timbers 2-1 at Providence Park Saturday. The win was only the third on the road this season for Bruce Arena's squad, with one of the other two coming earlier this month in Seattle.
